The Use of Stigmatizing and Biased Language in Electronic Medical Record Notes

Abstract: Attendees will discuss the presence of stigmatizing and biased language in electronic medical record notes. They will examine cases involving the use of such language and how it may impact patient care.  

No prior reading is necessary, however for those interested, the following documents will be pertinent to the discussion: 

Continuing medical education credit will be available for those in attendance.
