Abstract: This presentation and discussion seek to bridge the gap between scientific exploration and clinical adoption. Attendees will hear a venture capitalist's perspective on the misalignments and the challenges inherent in bringing healthcare innovation to the bedside. Furthermore, the session will explore the challenges and ethical implications of aligning scientific ambitions with market demands and regulatory landscapes.
The interactive discussion will encourage attendees to engage in a dialogue on the misalignments often observed in the journey from laboratory discovery to clinical application.

This talk is hosted by the Pitt-CMU Rehab Neuroengineering Laboratory and co-sponsored by the Research, Ethics and Society Initiative of Pitt Research
