Ariel Leath researches ethical considerations around equitable end-of-life care, substance use disorder, palliative care, and disability. She works at the Palliative Research Center at the University of Pittsburgh as a student researcher. Ariel collaborated with nursing faculty at the Community College of Allegheny County on a project to incorporate end-of-life and medical ethics topics into the existing nursing curriculum. After graduation, she intends to pursue a career in clinical ethics consultation. She graduated with a BS in Communications from Appalachian State University and an MA in Communications, Culture and Technology from Georgetown University.
