Abstract: Panelists will consider the promise and challenges of publishing ELSI (ethical, legal, and social implications) research in scientific and medical journals. They will discuss formats for ELSI manuscripts and interdisciplinary issues (e.g., use of medical or sociopolitical language and concepts). They will also recommend where to place articles reporting quantitative, qualitative, or normative/policy ELSI research. Presentations will be followed by moderated discussion and live audience Q&A.
