Abstract: Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly entering healthcare and changing the practice of medicine. But who will likely be held liable for patient harm caused by AI? The physician, hospital, manufacturer, and/or no one? This presentation will try to answer these questions, looking at U.S. tort liability and new developments in the European Union.
