Abstract: Three NCAA athletic directors discuss the challenges they face balancing the goals of keeping players safe and fans engaged during the pandemic. The challenges are acute not only because the virus spreads at public gatherings, but also because there is some evidence that the coronavirus can cause heart injuries in student athletes. Kenneth W. Goodman, Director, University of Miami Institute for Bioethics and Health Policy (formerly of the University of Pittsburgh) will moderate the discussion.
