Amy VanDyke, MSW, PhD is Vice President of Programs for Catholic Social Services in Columbus, Ohio, where she focuses on ethics and justice issues in the care for the poor and vulnerable.  Formerly the System Ethicist for Mount Carmel Health System also in Columbus, Dr. VanDyke was responsible for the development and implementation of all ethics services and programs for the multiple hospital system.  Dr. VanDyke was also previously employed by Kaiser-Permanente as the Director of Bioethics in the West Los Angeles Region of Southern California and as the Consulting Ethicist at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh.  Dr. VanDyke earned her PhD in healthcare ethics from Duquesne University and her Master's degree and undergraduate degrees from the University of Pittsburgh.  She is a member of the American Society for Bioethics and Humanities (ASBH), National Association of Social Workers (NASW), and the European Society on the Philosophy of Medicine and Health Care (ESPMH).
