February 18, 2020 -
12:00pm to 1:30pm

Abstract: In this lunchtime talk, Heybl will discuss what Kant would have had to say about climate change, how Immanuel Kant would justify action to prevent it, and why humanity is worth preserving. She will discuss these questions by bringing the views of Kant into conversation with two other German philosophers, Robert Spaemann and Hans Jonas.
