Academic Programs
The Center for Bioethics and Health Law provides graduate-level training in bioethics in cooperation with several schools, including the Arts and Sciences, Law, and Medicine, through innovative degree and degree-related programs. Students from varied backgrounds, pursuing diverse career paths, explore ethical issues through seminars, clinical rotations, and research projects tailored to their individual interests and career goals. Students from these academic programs have won the American Society for Bioethics and Humanities (ASBH) Student Paper Award twice in the first eight years since the award’s inception, and students frequently present their research on the national programs of the ASBH and the Association for Practical and Professional Ethics, as well as at regional conferences and the Center’s colloquia.
